Last week, I finally started work on a clinical workflow book that I hope will be published in late spring of 2017. The working title is Clinical Workflow: Methods, Models and Software Applications. The book will contain 14 to 15 chapters and will be written as a practical handbook suitable for classroom use. Topics covered will include clinical workflow analysis methods, modeling tutorials, and development of workflow-enabled applications designed using an open source BPM suite.
